Cows trapped in cramped transport conditions

Stop Brittany Ferries & cruel live exports

Together, we must stop Brittany Ferries, ban live exports and end farmed animal suffering around the world, for good.

Why are you so crucial?

Live animal transport disasters are becoming increasingly common, with innocent animals often perishing aboard these ships and lorries, and many more being the victims of dehydration, starvation and sheer exhaustion.

You’d think the horrors of previous tragedies would compel those in power around the world to take immediate action. But the needless suffering continues, with profit trumping compassion.

Brittany Ferries’ decision to resume live exports between Ireland and France is unimaginable and a clear sign the company no longer places the importance of animal welfare over its profits.

Let's work together

People like you can make a big difference.

Thanks to our compassionate supporters, in 2024 Great Britain announced a monumental achievement with the ban on live exports for fattening and slaughter. This guarantees that British animals will in future be spared the fate of being sent on horrific and traumatising long journeys.

But we haven’t reached the finish line yet.

Millions more animals are still being exported on long journeys every year. And we won’t stop until no animal is forced to endure this cruel practice. This means we need your support more than ever.

Will you help?

How you make a difference

By donating today, you can be part of the solution. Your kind gift will help us continue to pressure the European Commission to follow Great Britain’s lead and strengthen animal welfare legislation across the EU — ending live exports for good.

Ending all this suffering is a huge ambition. But with the support of amazing people like you, we will get there.

We know that a future exists for these animals, that doesn’t involve enduring these journeys. And with the help of amazing supporters like you, we are determined to end live exports worldwide and the broader cruelty of intensive animal farming for good. But we need your support to make it happen.

Our promise to you is to use your gift in the most effective manner possible to end factory farming:

  • Save Animals. Factory farming is the bigget cause of animal cruelty on the planet.
  • Save Our Planet. Factory farming intensifies climate change.
  • Save Wildlife. Factory farming threatens the survival of many animals and plants.
